Horses are such spiritual animals they know and sense deeply what is happening to them.  Horrendous experiences can leave them sad or angry, turn them into a bully or they can grieve for a lost friend or leaving an owner as they are sold.  Horses are also very perceptive; sensing your every emotion, sadness, anger, frustration, nervousness, joy and love; they will respond to this with a mirror reaction.  

So if an owner is sad or upset their horse will respond in the same way, therefore it is imperative that any stressed or angry feelings are left behind at home before visiting your horse.
